My name is Martin and this is my story. I travel because it is fun and a great way to continue self-education which enriches the worldview and opens my eyes to unnoticeable things, both in the distant countries and the closest ones. Let's get to know other cultures but let's also respect and defend our own.

A few words from the author

Whilst travelling from the Christian remains of Constantinople and the ancient sands of Persia, through the Himalayas, the Great Wall of China and the dense jungles of Borneo, I realized that the world must have its order. Therefore despite my beautiful adventures and experiences I always remembered which culture I myself belonged to, and I also appreciated the beauty and values of our beautiful - White Christian civilization.

Asia and the regions of Asia

As the name implies, in “Asia and the regions of Asia” the author has placed exactly those useful information. Asia is such a huge and diverse continent, that it is very important to write separately about each of the regions. It is a continent of many races and cultures. The continent of many ecosystems and types of cuisine. That is why the division of Asia into regions is necessary.

Asia and the regions of Asia

West Asia

By: Martin Malik
West Asia is a region of old civilizations, beautiful desert landscapes, warm seas and interesting cities. I have very fond memories of the monuments of Iran, the adventurous Lebanon and the Iraqi Kurdistan. For me; the occupied Palestine, the Old City in Jerusalem and Petra in Jordan are simply unforgettable. In this region Zionist terrorists constantly attack the members of 'religion of peace' and vice versa. I also organized an expedition through the Saudi desert and many others.
Asia and the regions of Asia

South-East Asia

By: Martin Malik
Southeast Asia is the most famous and popular region of Asia. Fairy tale beaches of Thailand and temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia are known all over the world. Southeast Asia is a region of good food, massage under palm trees, turquoise waterfalls, thai-boxing, Buddhist temples and a relaxed lifestyle close to the tropical nature. It is this region of Asia that is most often associated with the "tropical paradise on earth".
Asia and the regions of Asia

South Asia

By: Martin Malik
The region of South Asia occupies an area of about 1/3 of Europe and it is called the "Subcontinent" because of the natural, geological, cultural, religious and socio-economic differences. South Asia, or the Indian Subcontinent, is a travel destination for more advanced travellers.
Asia and the regions of Asia

Central Asia

By: Martin Malik
Central Asia is defined in two ways. It can be defined in purely geographic or a cultural way or in both ways at the same time. I consider Central Asia to be the land east of the Caspian Sea inhabited primarily by Muslim peoples of Turkish origin and associated with nomadic lifestyle of the ancient Silk Road.
Asia and the regions of Asia

North Asia

By: Martin Malik
The boundaries of North Asia are very clearly marked as they include the area of Russia east of the Urals. In the south the border of North Asia are therefore China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Caucasus mountains while in the north it is the Arctic Ocean. It is a region of vast areas, beautiful nature and cold winters.
Asia and the regions of Asia

East Asia

By: Martin Malik
East Asia is located along the Pacific Ocean and covers the countries of the "Chinese cultural circle", which had its development in other East Asian countries during the Tang dynasty. East Asia is a very interesting region; homeland of the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army and the ancient Buddhist and Confucian temples in Japan and Korea. East Asia also includes panda bears, picturesque landscapes and a wealth of flavours of oriental dishes.
Asia and the regions of Asia Continents

Asia

By: Martin Malik
Asia is the largest and the most populated continent in the world, and it is very attractive to tourists. Asia is a continent of picturesque landscapes and people of many cultures and races, with a very rich cultural heritage. In this chapter, I intend to discuss the division of Asia into regions, and some places and things, that would hopefully encourage to travel.

The traveller’s crusade

"In Arabia they have a lot of stories about Islam, and in Israel about Judaism. In Burma they teach Buddhism, and in India Hinduism. This means that a wise traveller from the Latin civilization should be ready to respond through the picture of Christianity, in order to give a good testimony about our culture. On the other hand a reckless traveller admits to be an atheist, because in many cultures he would be viewed equally to animals ........ which are also atheists."
